About the Company

In the Fall of 2002, Kevin Wilson Randall decided to follow-up on an idea he had been pondering for some time. That idea was to start a transportation company based on excellence and reliability. On December 20,2002, Kevin purchased the first truck–a 26 foot box truck with a lift-gate. The majority of Kevin’s business was in Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas. As time went on the transportation business took him into Tennessee, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. The first 6 months were a unique learning experience. Along with a lot of hard working hours to make sure each customer’s freight was picked up and delivered on time, gained Kevin a reputation for being an “On Time Carrier.”

In June 2003 the first tractor and trailer were purchased with authority to run in 48 states. The mission was to build a transportation, warehousing and distribution facility that would offer on time shipments day in and day out, and to do it in a way that represented the highest possible standards of excellence, dependability, reliability, integrity and character.

After dealing with and learning the ropes of transportation, two more trucks and trailers were purchased in 2004. With the addition of equipment, employment opportunities opened up for drivers. As the years “rolled on” Randall Transport started gaining a great reputation of being on time and delivering their customers’ product without damaging the freight. The business was growing and becoming more complex. Harvey and Helen Randall decided to join Kevin and formed Randall Transport Services, LLC on June 4, 2004.
